Terms of Service

Effective July 5, 2026

These terms govern the purchase and use of software offered on apps.chochicho.ch (the “Store”), operated by CHO CHI CHO GmbH, Vulkanplatz 7, 8048 Zürich, Switzerland (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@chochicho.ch.

1. Ordering and payment

Paid orders are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and applicable sales taxes, and Paddle’s checkout buyer terms apply to the transaction. Prices are shown before checkout.

2. Delivery

Products are delivered digitally: a download link and, for licensed apps, a personal license key sent to the email address used at checkout — normally within minutes of purchase. If nothing arrives, check spam or contact us and we will resend the key.

3. License

Unless stated otherwise on the product page, a purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on up to two Macs that you own or control. One-time purchase — no subscription. We may provide updates to the purchased major version at our discretion; the app can check for updates and never installs anything without you.

You may not share, sell, or publish your license key, or attempt to circumvent the license mechanism. We may deactivate keys that are refunded, charged back, or clearly abused (e.g. published or resold). You can deactivate a device in the app to free a seat.

4. Refunds

See our Refund policy — in short: 14 days, no questions asked.

5. Warranty and liability

Statutory warranty rights apply. The software is provided as described on its product page; we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, and in any case to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Third-party components

Our apps may include open-source components; their notices ship with each app (About → Licenses).

7. Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

8. Governing law

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence remains unaffected. Place of jurisdiction: Zurich, Switzerland.
